Our History
We started business as a coal merchant, ran by the Edge Family at Malpas station. The business then evolved into transporting livestock to and from the local markets. To this day, we are still livestock haulers and the haulage side of the business has further grown into carrying out general haulage. Our fleet of articulated lorries move a great range of goods nation-wide.
The agricultural engineering side of the business was started by Philip Proudlove in 1951, we have now have grown to deal with all types of welding and sheet metal fabrication. We also stock a wide range of steel.
